February 24, 2010:    Ogle County spring road postings will be in effect beginning Monday, March 1, 2010 at 7:00 A.M.  All vehicles on Ogle County maintained asphalt or bituminous roads are temporarily restricted to the following:
Weight Limits  
2 axles, single rear tires 7,000 lbs
2 axles, dual rear tires 18,000 lbs
3 or more axles, dual rear tires* 33,000 lbs
*and axle load 11,000 lbs.  

Penalties  
All loads must be brought into compliance Before Proceeding and  
2,001 lbs. to 5,000 lbs. $250.00
5,001 lbs. to 7,000 lbs. $350.00
over 7,000 lbs. $500.00

Specifications are available at the office of the County Engineer. Bids must be received by February 9, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
