Warrant Arrest
On 10-04-18 Michael Uttecht, age 36, of Compton was arrested for Unlicensed. Uttecht had a bond of $5,000/10%. Uttecht did post the bond of $5,000/10%. Uttecht will return to court on 10-19-18 at 9:00 am. Uttecht was released from the Ogle County Jail.

Warrant Arrests
On 10-03-18 the following were arrested for Oustanding Ogle County Warrants:

William Peyton, age 47, of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Peyton had a bond for $2,657. Peyton was given a $1,000 recog and will return to court on 03-25-19 at 9:00 am.
Paige Massey, age 20, of Elgin for Speeding. Massey has a bond of $3,000 /10%. Massey will go to court on 10-04-18 at 1:00pm. Massey will remain in the Ogle County Jail.

Warrant Arrests
On 10-02-18 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Dwight JD Banks, age 24 of Clinton IA for Failure to Appear. Banks posted the $710 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Donald R Long, age 39 of Rochelle for Failure to Appear. Long did not post the $8,963.41 Full Cash Bond and will appear in court on 10-03-19 at 1:00 pm.
Kevin Staten, age 29 of Rochelle for Failure to Appear. Staten did not post the $546 Full Cash Bond and will appear in court on 10-03-18 at 1:00 pm.

Warrant Arrests
On 10-01-18 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

Elaina J Bray, age 26 of Kingston for Possession of Drug Equipment. Bray did not post the $10,000 10% bond and will appear in court on 10-04-18 at 1:00 pm.
Michelle E Ware, age 35 of Rockford for Failure to Appear ($3,428 Full Cash) and Petition to Revoke ($1,500 10%). Ware remains in the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 10-02-18 at 1:00 pm.

Driving While License Revoked

On 10/01/2018 at approximately 11:51 AM Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 13900 block of West IL Route 72. After investigation Deputies placed Ryan Hastings, age 32, of Freeport under arrest for Driving While Licensed Revoked. Hastings was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Single Vehicle Rollover Accident
On 09/30/18 at 1454 hours Ogle County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Chana Rd and Flagg Rd reference a single vehicle rollover accident with the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. During the course of the crash investigation, it was determined that Matthew C. Mancillas age 31 of Sycamore, ran off the roadway traveling over 600 feet before crashing into a tree causing the vehicle to catch fire. Manciallas was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries and cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Mancillas posted bond at the hospital and was released.

Possession of Controlled Substance
On 09-29-18 at 1632 hours, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West Mud Creek Road for a traffic violation. After an investigation, and further assistance from the Ogle County K9 Unit, Nichole Hill, age 35 of Rock Falls was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance. Hill was transported to the Ogle County Jail and was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest

On 09-29-18 Eric Young, age 23, of Oregon was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Young had a bond of $3,316.00 Full Cash. Young will return to court on 10-01-18 at 1300 hours.

Warrant Arrests

On 09-28-18 Amy Freeman, age 48, of Rockford was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Freeman had a bond of $895.71 Full Cash. Freeman will return to court on 09-28-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-28-18 Torrie Campbell, age 57, of Byron was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Campbell had a bond of $425.00 Full Cash. Campbell will return to court on 09-28-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-28-18 Kassandra Starr, age 28, of Rock falls was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Starr had a bond of $806 Full Cash. Starr will return to court on 09-28-18 at 1300 hours.

Warrant Arrest
On 09-28-18 David M Knight, age 52 of Rochelle was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear with a full cash bond of $240. Knight will appear in court on 09-28-18 at 1:00 pm.

Violation of Bond Conditions
On 09-27-18 Ogle County Deputies responded to 111 Sunset Ln, Mt Morris for a report of an unwanted subject. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Carlson Jones, age 29 of Mt Morris for Violation of Bond Conditions. Jones was transported to the OCCC and held without bond.

Driving While License Revoked
On 09-27-18 at 11:20 pm, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe on I39 mile marker 104 southbound. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Justin R Wilson, age 26 of Davenport, IA for Driving While License Revoked. Wilson also received citations for Loud Muffler, No Insurance and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Wilson's passenger Shane Petre, 26 of Davenport, IA was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Whiteside County. Both were transported to the OCCC and held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Illinois State Police and Ron's Towing.

Warrant Arrest
On 09-27-18 Darlene Thompson, age 47 of Mt. Morris was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant. Thompson posted the $168 Full Cash Bond with no further court date needed.

Warrant Arrest
On 09-27-18 Dylan J Holland, age 20 of Ottawa was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Theft. Holland did not post the $3,000 10% bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Holland will appear in court on 09-28-18 at 1:00 pm.

Daniel Sotelo, age 29 of Mt. Morris for No Valid Driver's License and Failure to Appear. Sotelo posted the $2,000 10% bond and $383.77 Full Cash Bond and was released. Sotelo will appear in court on 10-19-18 at 9:00 am.

On 09-25-18 Caly Jiles, age 36, of Rockford was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Jiles had a bond of $6,240.24 Full Cash. Jiles will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-25-18 Darrell Sellers, age 43, of Freeport was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Sellers had a bond of $406.00 Full Cash. Sellers will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-25-18 Amy Hatfield, age 38, of Byron was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Use of Account Number or Code with Intent to Defraud. Hatfield had a bond of $3,000.00/ 10%. Hatfield will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-25-18 Corrine Smith, age 37, of Rockford was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Bad Checks / Obtain Control Property. Smith had a bond of $3,000.00/10%. Smith will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-25-18 Brittany Grubbs, age 23, of Rockford was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Grubbs had a bond of $812.00 Full Cash. Grubbs will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-25-18 Darris Flores, age 25, of Dekalb was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for D.U.I. Flores had a bond of $5,000.00/ 10%. Flores will return to court on 09-26-18 at 1300 hours.

Traffic Stop
On 09/25/18 at 10:40 am Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 8,000 block of East Route 72. Sheriff's Deputies arrested Amy L Hatfield, age 38, of Byron for an Ogle County Warrant. Hatfield had a warrant for Credit Card Fraud and was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

No Valid Driver's License
On 09-23-18 at approximately 1:49 pm, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 1600 block of N Freeport Rd. After investigation Deputies placed a 17 yr old male juvenile of Freeport under arrest for No Valid IL Driver's License. The juvenile was released on an I-bond and will appear in court at a later date.

Driving While License Suspended
On 09-18-18 at approximately 6:48 pm, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop just north of the intersection of IL Rte 64 and White Rock Road. After investigation Deputies placed Casey Roberts, age 39 of Chadwick under arrest for Driving While License Suspended and No Valid Driver's License. Roberts was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Felony Disorderly Conduct
On 09/21/2018 at approximately 3:16 PM, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a stolen vehicle complaint at 4449 W. IL Rte 64. After investigation, Deputies learned the vehicle was in fact not stolen and the report was false. Deputies then placed Hortencia Jaimes-Carbajal, age 43 of Mt. Morris under arrest for Disorderly Conduct (class 4 felony). Jaimes-Carbajal was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.

Warrant Arrests:

On 09-22-18 Misti Fant, age 37, of Ashton was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Driving Under the Influence. Fant had a bond of $5,000.00/10%. Fant will return to court on 09-24-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-22-18 Amber Anders, age 25, of Rochelle was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence. Anders had a bond of $25,000.00/10%. Anders will return to court on 09-24-18 at 1300 hours.

Driving While License Suspended
On 09/21/18 at 1750 hours, Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Mulford Rd and Bethel Rd. During the course of the traffic stop it was learned that the driver, Zachary W. Middaugh, age 18, of Rochelle had a suspended license. Middaugh was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests:

On 09-21-18 Adrian Hartness, age 30, of Dixon was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Hartness had a bond of $1,906.23 Full Cash. Hartness will return to court on 09-24-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-21-18 Cole Smith, age 30, of Rochelle was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Driving While License Suspended. Smith had a bond of $15,000.00/10%. Smith will return to court on 09-21-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-21-18 Terrence Ross, age 40, of Naperville was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Driving While License Suspended. Ross had a bond of $3,000./10%. Ross will return to court on 10-26-18 at 0900 hours.
On 09-21-18 Lidia Barriga-Avina, age 27, of Streamwood was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Identity Theft. Barriga-Avina had a bond of $5,000.00/10%. Barriga-Avina will return to court on 09-21-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-21-18 Casey Mosher, age 40, of Dekalb was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Obstructing Identification. Mosher had a bond of $5,000.00/10%. Mosher will return to court on 09-21-18 at 1300 hours.
On 09-21-18 Anthony Bowers, age 36, of Rockford was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Bowers had a bond of $2,554.00 Full Cash. Bowers will return to court on 09-24-18 at 1300 hours.

Driving While License Revoked
On 09/21/2018 Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 21000 block of Freeport Road just into Whiteside County. After investigation Deputies placed Benjamin Seals, 39 of Forreston, under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Seal was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Two Vehicle Accident
On 09/20/18 at 1739 hours Deputies responded to the intersection of Illinois Rte. 26 and Sterling road for a two vehicle accident with minor injuries. It was learned that a 2017 Infinity driven by Tammy Moran, age 47, of Sterling was traveling west on Illinois Rte. 26 when she failed to stop at the intersection of Illinois Rte. 26 and Sterling road. Tammy then entered the intersection where she collided with a 2011 Jeep driven by Wesley Krueger, age 38, of Polo. Tammy's vehicle continued west where it rolled several times coming to rest in the north ditch. Krueger's vehicle sustained only minor damage. Tammy was transported to CGH hospital by Polo Ambulance for minor injuries. Tammy received a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. Krueger and his passenger Reanne Kurschner were uninjured. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Polo Police and Fire, along with IDOT, Pines Auto, and Dyers wrecker. The accident remains under investigation.

Violation Of Order of Protection
On 09/20/18 the Ogle County Sheriff's Office arrested Joshua Fabish, age 36 of Davis Junction for violation of an order of protection. Fabish was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

Warrant Arrest
On 09/19/18 Alfredo Garcia-Hueramo, age 33, of Rochelle was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants. The warrants was for Petition to Revoke and Failure to Appear. Garcia-Hueramo has a bond of $1,000.00/10% and $2,441.00 full cash bond. Garcia-Hueramo was also arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful use of anID. Garcia-Hueramo will return to court on 09/20/18 at 1300.

Warrant Arrest

No Valid Driver's License
On 09-18-18 at 2:38 am, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of N Il Rt 2 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Arthur T Carter, age 47 of Rock Falls was arrested for No Valid Driver's License. Carter was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests
On 09-17-18 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:Lavern A Dearborn, age 55 of Sterling for Failure to Appear. Dearborn did not post the $3,088 Full Cash Bond and will appear in court on 09-18-18 at 1:00 pm.Richard Huereca, age 45 of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Huereca was issued a Recognizance Bond and released. Huereca will appear in court on 09-24-18 at 9:00 am.Melvin A Jefferson, age 28 of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Jefferson posted $50 of the $602 Full Cash Bond and was released. Jefferson will appear in court on 10-29-18 @ 9:00 am.

Driving While License Suspended
On September 17th, 2018, approximately 11:25 AM, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 8000 block of North Route 251. After an investigation, Kenneth L. Holt, 54, of Decatur, Georgia, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Holt was issued an I bond and released at the scene.

Criminal Damage To Property
On 09/17/18 at about 0018 hours ogle County Deputies conducted a welfare check on an individual at 156 Dayflower circle in Davis Junction. As a result of the investigation, Jeremey R. Phillips, age 28, of Davis Junction was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property. Phillips was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending an appearance before a judge. He was also issued civil citations for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

No Valid Driver's License
On 09/16/18 at 1927 hours, Ogle County Deputies stopped Zaipa Mtema, age 20, of Rockford, for disobeyed traffic control device. Upon further investigation it was learned Zaipa Mtema did not have a valid driver's license. Zaipa Mtema was arrested for no valid driver's license and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was remained in lieu of bond. Zaipa Mtema was also cited for disobeyed traffic e control device.

Warrant Arrest
On 09-13-18 Darrick D Dickinson, age 44 of Rochelle was arrested for an oustanding Ogle County Warrant for Domestic Battery. Dickinson posted the $3,000 10% bond and will appear in court on 09-14-18 at 1:00 PM.

Possession of Controlled Substance
On 09/12/18 at 7:48 pm, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Il Rt 72 at Mill Rd for a traffic violation. After a positive K9 indication, the vehicle was searched and driver David W Richards, age 27 of Sterling was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Equipment and Driving While License Suspended. Richards was also given civil citations for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis under 10 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The front seat passenger, Kasey Orr age 38 of Sterling was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Equipment. Both subjects were transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 09/12/2018 at approximately 6:55 AM Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 2000 block of W. Lightsville Rd. After investigation, Deputies placed Daniel Wallgren, age 37 of Oregon under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Wallgren was additionally issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Wallgren was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Violation of Bond Conditions

On 09/11/18 Ogle County Deputies investigated a report of a violation of bond conditions at 111 Main St Leaf River. As a results of that investigation Tobias Whetsel of Leaf River was taken into custody for violation of order or protection. Tobias was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he will be held until he can be brought before a judge.

Warrant Arrests

On 09/11/18 Jose Navarro, age 38, of Leaf River was arrested for Driving while License suspended. Navarro had a bond of $15,000/10%. Navarro did post the $15,000/ 10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Navarro will return to court on 09-28-18 at 9:00 am.
On 09/11/18 Ricky Barnett, age 58, of Rockton was arrested for Petition to Revoke. Barnett bond is set at $10,000.00/10%. Barnett did not post bond and will return to court on 9-12-18 @1300.

One Vehicle Accident

On September 11, 2018 at 4:46 am the Ogle County Sheriff's Office, Oregon Fire Department, and the Oregon Ambulance were dispatched to a one vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment in the 1700 block S. Daysville Road. After a further investigation it was determined that a Blue 2001 Pontiac Aztec was southbound on Daysville road when it crossed over into the Eastside ditch. The vehicle traveled the ditch for approximately 100 yards before striking a guard rail and rolling over onto its roof. The driver of the vehicle Gregory L. Crisp, age 50, of Nachusa was extricated from the vehicle by the Oregon Fire Department and transported to Mercy Health Hospital in Rockford by the Oregon Ambulance with minor injuries. Crisp was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance, and was given an I-Bond for driving while license revoked. Crisp will appear in court at a later date.

Warrant Arrests 09-10-18

Gibran Zepeda, age 25 of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Zepeda posted the $306.00 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Amber Keener, age 34 of Rockford for Failure to Appear with a $3,202.00 Full Cash Bond. Keener returns to court 09-10-18 @1300.
Dan Woods, age 23 of Davis, Il for Failure to Appear with a $1,067.00 Full Cash Bond. Woods returns to court 09-10-18 @1300.
Tina Smith, age 51 of Rockford for Failure to Appear with a $282.00 Full Cash Bond. Smith returns to court 09-10-18 @1300.
Cheyenne Owens, age 21 of Oregon for No Drivers Licensed with a $2,000.00 10% bond. Owens posted bond and will return to court 10-05-18 @0900.

Fatal House Fire- Polo
On Saturday 09/08/2018 at approximately 11:45 p.m. the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a structure fire at 502 W. Buffalo St. in Polo. Polo Fire Protection District arrived on scene and observed a fully engulfed attached garage fire with significant smoke inside the residence. During the search of the residence fire personnel located the only occupant of the house, Keith E. Fredricks 81, deceased. Polo Fire Protection District requested a 2nd Alarm with mutual aid from Mt. Morris, Dixon City, Milledgeville, Dixon Rural, Advance Ambulance, Lanark, Forreston, and Oregon Fire Districts. At the request of the Polo Police Department, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the death investigation. The investigation continues and no additional information will be released at this time.

Domestic Battery

On 09-09-18 at approximately 12:40 am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 111 Main St, Apt #1 in Leaf River for a domestic disturbance. After an investigation Tobias Whetsel, age 37 of Leaf River was arrested for Domestic Battery. Whetsel was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving Under the Influence

On 09/07/18 at 12:11 am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 at mile marker 99 for a violation of the Scott’s law. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Melissa Encinas for Driving Under the Influence. Encinas also received citations for Improper Lane Usage and Scott’s Law. Melissa was transported to the OCCC and held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted by AC Towing.

Warrant Arrests 09-07-18

On 09-07-18 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

John H Cooper, age 42 of Clinton, IA for Failure to Appear. Cooper posted the $384 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Sandra J Garcia, age 24 of Rochelle for Driving While License Suspended with a $3,000 10% bond. Garcia was given a Recognizance Bond and released with a 09-10-18 10:45 am court date.

Driving While License Suspended

On September 7th, 2018, approximately 4:18 PM, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 2000 block of North River Rd. After an investigation, Kenneth E. Meier, 63, of Belvidere, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended.

Driving Under the Influence

On 09/06/18 the Ogle County Sheriffs Office Deputies arrested Edward Glavin age 52 of Rochelle for DUI. Glavin was arrested by deputies who were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the Rolling Green trailer park. Glavin was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

Warrant Arrest

Jennifer Lenderman, age 30 of Loves Park for Battery. Lenderman did not post the $3,000.00 10% bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Lenderman returns to court 9-7-18 @ 1300.

Domestic Disturbance

on 09/06/18 the Ogle County Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 164 Dayflower Circle in Davis Junction. After an investigation deputies arrested Joshua Fabish age 36 for domestic battery. Fabish was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

Warrant Arrest

On 09-06-18 Jeralyn J. Allen, of Sterling was arrested for Failure to Appear. Allen had a bond of $592. Allen will go to court on 09-07-18 at 1:00pm. Allen remains in the Ogle County Jail.

Driving While License Suspended

On 09/06/18 at approximately 8:38 am Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 4000 block of South Illinois Rt 26. After further investigation the driver of the vehicle, Jeffrey McCurdy, age 46, of Freeport was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. A passenger in the vehicle, James Wetzell, age 44, also of Freeport was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Obstructing Identification, Possession of Drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding Ogle County Warrant. Both McCurdy and Wetzell were transported to the Ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 09-04-18 at approximately 5:22 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Meridian Rd at Rte 64. After an investigation Jennifer K Perrine, age 42 of Rockford was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and a Winnebago County Warrant for Failure to Appear/Battery. Perrine was also cited for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.

Driving While License Suspended

On 9/4/2018 at approximately 0648 hours Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 1600 Block of N. Freeport Road. After investigation Deputies placed Nicholas Hartman, age 19 of Freeport under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Hartman was also issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Hartman was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 09-03-18 at 11:40 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies made a traffic stop at I39 Mile Marker 111 on Christopher G Jimison age 30 of Chicago. After a short investigation Jimison was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and Obstructing Justice. Jimison was also cited for Improper Window Tint and Failure to Notify Secretary of State of Address Change. Jimison was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Domestic Battery

on 09/03/18 Ogle County Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 106 N. Locust Ave Forreston. After an investigation Jessica Engelkens of Dixon was arrested for Domestic Battery. Engelkens was transported to the Ogle County Jail and will be held until she can be brought before a judge.

Criminal Trespass to Property

On 09/02/18 Ogle County Deputies responded to two separate calls of an unwanted subject at 2121 N. Everett St. Mount Morris. After an investigation Trei Sanders of Freeport was arrested for Criminal Trespass to Property. Sanders was transported to the ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 09/02/18 at approximately 1314 hours Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North Illinois Rt. 2. After investigation Tabitha Vanbuskirk, age 23 of Dixon was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Vanbuskirk was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in Lieu of bond.

Two Vehicle Accident

On 09/01/18 at approximately 1344 hours Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the 9900 block of North Kishwaukee Rd. An investigation revealed a northbound vehicle driven by Kenneth Strong of Rockford failed to navigate a curve in the roadway. Strong’s vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle being driven by Terry Newcomer of Mt. Morris. Minor injuries were reported. The accident remains under investigation.

Single Vehicle Injury Crash

On 08/31/18 at 9:44 PM the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office along with the Lynn Scott Rock Fire Dept. responded to a single vehicle injury crash on Hwy 251 near Lindenwood Road. Investigation by deputies revealed that a northbound vehicle driven by Miguel Cortes, age 46, of Rockford left the east side of the roadway and traveled into a cornfield where it overturned several times. Cortes was extricated from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to Rochelle Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Cortes was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage and released on an I-bond to appear in court at a later date.

One Vehicle Crash

On 08/31/18 Ogle County Deputies responded to a one vehicle crash in the area of Pines Rd and Ridge Rd in rural Oregon. After and investigation it was determined that Rogelio Martinez-Dominguez of Chicago was traveling s/b on Ridge and failed to see the stop sign at the intersection until it was too late. Martinez-Dominguez attempted to stop but struck stop sign and a telephone pole in the process. Martinez-Dominguez was not injured in the crash. Martinez-Dominguez was arrested for no valid drivers license. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. Martinez-Dominguez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. the Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Oregon PD, Polo PD and the Oregon FD.

On 08/31/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Taylor Crofoot, of DeKalb for Retail Theft. Crofoot had a bond of $3,000/10%. Crofoot was given a recog of $3,000/10%. Crofoot will return to court on 09-10-18 at 9:00am.
Henry Contreras, of California for Failure to Appear. Contreras had a bond of $1,125. Contreras was given a bond reduction to $50. Contreras will return to court on 09-24-18 at 9:00am.

One Vehicle Accident

On August 30th, approximately 7:55AM, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the 2200 block of W Montague Rd. The driver and lone occupant, Deryl Beyer, was transported (by German Valley Fire/ambulance) to Freeport Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Driving While License Suspended

On 08-25-18 at 7:21 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 southbound at Mile Marker #101 for an equipment violation. After a short investigation Nathaniel Goodwin, age 26 of Alabama was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Goodwin was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

On 08-25-18 Dustin M Marx was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Petition to Revoke. Marx did not post the $1500 10% bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Marx will appear in court on 08-27-18 at 1:00 pm.

On 08/23/18 at approximately 3:25 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 12000 block of East Holcomb Road. After further investigation Tomas Giron, age 72 of Rockford was placed under arrest for No Valid Drivers License. Giron was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is held in lieu of bond.

On 08/22/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Ryan Harleman, age 40 of Byron, for Contempt of Court. Harleman posted the $2,075 purge bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Harleman will appear in court on 08/23/18 at 1 p.m.
Melvin Gay, age 46 of DeKalb, for Failure to appear. Gay has a bond of $3,234 and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Gay will appear in court on 08/23/18 at 1 p.m.

Driving Without a License

On 08-20-18 at 5:06 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 100 block of west Montague Road. After a short investigation Jerry Lane-Barry 35 of Rockford was arrested for Driving Without a License. Jerry was transported to the OCCC and held in lieu of bond.

Edward L Hutchinson, age 46 of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Hutchinson posted $100 of the $556 Full Cash Bond and was released on a Recognizance Bond to appear in court on 09-24-18 at 9:00 am.
Todd M Munz, age 53 of Rockford for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer with a bond of $20,000 10%. Munz remains in the Ogle County Jail and will appear again in court on 08-27-18 at 1:00 pm.

Drug Arrest

On 08/20/18 at about 12:41 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jonathan Diaz, age 30 of Berwyn, for two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver, all three being felony charges, after a traffic stop in the 4000 block of South IL Route 251. Diaz was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending an appearance before a judge. Diaz was also cited for speeding.

Warrant Arrest

On 08/19/18 Benjamin Lemus, age 30 of Rochelle, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Driving While License Expired. Lemus posted the $2,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Lemus will appear in court on 09/14/18 at 9 a.m.

Warrant Arrest

On 08/17/18 Elizabeth Cardenas, age 26 of Loves Park, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Cardenas was given a $1,000.00 Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on 09/24/18 at 9 a.m.

Driving While Under the Influence

On 08/17/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Manriquez, age 39 of Rockford, for Driving While Under the Influence. Manriquez was arrested by Deputies on Stillman Road near Stillman Valley after he was stopped for driving in the wrong lane of traffic. Manriquez was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

Driving While License Revoked

On 08-16-18 at 3:00 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a motor driven bicycle in the 6000 bock of North Illinois Rte 2. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Timothy Valdivia, age 25 of Oregon for Driving While License Revoked and an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear from Whiteside Co. Deputies were assisted by D & W Garage.

Driving While License Suspended

On 08-16-18 Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jesus Alanis, age 41 of West Chicago for Driving While License Suspended. Alanis was arrested on Hwy 251 in Davis Junction after being stopped for Speeding. Alanis was held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond.

Driving without a License

On 08/14/18 at approximately 5:00am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies located a Honda Crosstour stopped in the middle of the intersection of Montague road and Pecatonica road. The vehicle was being driven by Michael R. Sanchez, age 24, of Leaf River. It was determined that Sanchez had run out of gas and the vehicle stalled. It was also found that Sanchez has never been issued a drivers’ license in Illinois or any other state. Sanchez was arrested for driving without a license and given an Individual Bond at the scene. Sanchez is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date. Fuel was obtained for the vehicle and released to a valid driver.

Two Vehicle accident

On 08/13/18 at 1:33pm, ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Illinois Rte. 72 and Pecatonica Road. After an investigation it was determined that a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up being driven by William Jaworski of Elk Grove Village failed to reduce his speed to avoid a vehicle turning north onto Pecatonica road. There were no injuries to anyone involved in the incident. As a result of the accident jaworski was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Arrest Warrant

On 08/13/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Gaylord Widergren, age 55, of Byron for Failure to Appear. Widergren had a bond of $2,062.82. Widergren received a partial purge of $200. Widergren was able to post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Widergren will return to court on 09-24-18 at 9:00am.
Jourdan Mondragon, age 41, of Rockford for Armed Robbery. Mondragon has a bond of $250,000/10%. Mondragon was not able to post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Mondragon will go back to court on 08/22/18.

Warrant Arrest

On 08-12-18 Kimberly D Durbin, age 58 of Rochelle was arrested for Failure to Appear. Durbin paid the $125 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.

Two Vehicle Accident

On 8/12/218 at approximately 11:57 AM the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department, Forreston Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of Montague Road and Baileyville Road in reference to a two vehicle accident with injuries. After investigation Deputies learned a Toyota SUV driven by Mildred Sturtz, age 79 of Lanark was traveling eastbound on Montague Road and had stopped at the stop sign with Baileyville Road. Sturtz then pulled out in front of a Dodge van traveling northbound on Baileyville road and driven by Linda Giedd, age 67 of Forreston. Sturtz’s vehicle then struck Geidd’s vehicle on the driver’s side and both vehicle’s came to rest in the northeast ditch of the intersection. Both Geidd and Sturtz were transported to FHN Hospital by EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Sturtz was issued a citation for failure to yield.

Driving Under the Influence

On 08/12/18 at 1:05 am Deputies stopped a 2001 Purple Harley Davidson in the 1300 block of Daysville road for speeding and loud muffler. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Bradley Prosser, 49 ,of Rochelle for DUI. He also received citations for speeding, loud muffler, and failure to carry driver’s license.

No Valid Driver’s License

On 08/11/18 at 8:23pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Rt. 52 for an equipment violation. After a short investigation, Anthony Duarte, age 27, of Shannon was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license. Duarte was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On August 11th, 2018, approximately 4:45, Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 6000 blk of N. Rt. 2. After an investigation, Brandon E. Turner, 28, of Rockford, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Turner was also cited for Speeding and Improper Use of Registration. Turner’s passenger, and the vehicle’s registered owner, Nichole M. Chavez, 23, also of Rockford, was cited for permitting Unauthorized Person to Drive.

Aggravated Driving Under the Influence

On 08/11/18 ay 1:41 am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a welfare check on a male asleep in his running vehicle at Lincoln Highway and Cherry Ave in Rochelle. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Donato Belmonte 32 of Rochelle for Driving Under the Influence, Driving while License Suspended, No Valid Driver’s License, two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence and a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Belmonte was transported to the OCCC and held pending a bond hearing. Deputies were assisted by Rochelle Police and Ron’s Towing.

Driving While License Suspended

On 08-10-18 at 6:32 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of N Freeport Rd for a speeding violation. After a short investigation, Konner D Dadez, age 20 of Freeport was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Dadez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Suspicious Person

On 08/10/18, at approximately 1:00am, deputies responded to a residence in rural Forreston for the report of a suspicious person. After a short investigation, Christopher Boyd, age 29, of Taylor Ridge, IL was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Boyd was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 08/10/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tanessha Gates, age 26, of Rockford for Driving while License Suspended. Gates was arrested by deputies on I-39 near Rte. 64 after being stopped for a registration violation. Gates was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

Dustin A. Brehm, age 29, of Oregon for Foid Revoked. Brehm had a bond of $3,000. Brehm received a recog of $3,000. Brehm was released from the Ogle County jail. Brehm will return for court on 08/24/18 at 9:00am.
David W. Byerley, age 49, for Firearm without Valid Foid. Byerley had a bond of $10,000/10%. Byerley did post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail.
David A. Pedersen, age 48, of Fulton for Failure to Appear. Pedersen has a $968 bond. Pedersen did not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Pedersen will go to court on 08/10/18 at 1:00pm.

Accident

On 08/07/18 at 8:21 pm. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a semi truck and trailer accident at Mt Morris Road and Montague Road. It was learned that a 2012 Freightliner driven by Douglas Bolzer 57 of Scottsbluff NE was traveling east on Montague Road when it left the roadway and entered the south ditch causing the trailer to tip over and come to rest on its side. No injuries were reported. Deputies were assisted at the scene by German Valley Fire and Maggio’s wrecker. Accident remains under investigation.

Two Vehicle Accident

On 8-6-18 at 4:49 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at Illinois Rte 72 and Mulford Road. It was learned that a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Omar Corral, age 36 of Plano was Southbound on Mulford and failed to stop at the intersection causing a 1992 Mitsubishi driven by Cody Brewington, 28 of Kirkland to strike the Ford. No injuries were reported. Omar received citations for Disobeying Traffic Control Device and Possession of Cannabis under 10 Grams. Omar was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Fireworks and Unlawful Possession of Adulterants to Defraud Drug and Alcohol Tests. Omar was transported to the Ogle Co Jail and held without bond. Deputes were assisted at the scene by the Illinois State Police, Maggio’s wrecker and D&W Wrecker. Crash remains under investigation.

On 08-07-18 Janet Trejo, age 24 of West Chicago was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County Failure to Appear Warrant. Trejo posted the $195 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
On 08-07-18 James D Underhill, age 29 of Ashton was arrested for 2 outstanding Theft Warrants with $10,000 10% and $30,000 10% bonds. Underhill remains in custody at the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 08-08-18 at 1:00 pm.

Domestic Battery

On August 6th, 2018, approximately 12:17 PM, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic battery complaint in the 8000 block of North River Drive. After an investigation, Mark C. Meyer, 50, of Byron was arrested for Domestic Battery

Disturbance

On 08/05/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Jackson, age 31, of Davis Junction for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. Jackson was arrested at his residence after deputies responded there for a disturbance. Jackson was transported to the Ogle County Correctional Center and held in lieu of bond to be set on 08/06/18.

Reckless Conduct

On 08/05/18, at approximately 5:00pm, deputies responded to the 2000 block of North Daysville rd for a single vehicle crash. After conducting an investigation, Ignacio Martinez- Garcia, age 34, of Northbrook, IL was arrested for Reckless conduct. Martinez-Garcia was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol.

No Valid Driver’s License

On 08/03/18 at 0422 hours Ogle County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Stillman Road southbound from Winnebago County line reference a possible intoxicated driver. A 2016 blue Dodge Charger was stopped at Stillman Road and Rt 72. The driver, Curtis A Hill age 71 of Rockford, was arrested for no valid driver’s license. Curtis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond.

Rural Byron Shooting

On August 3rd, 2018 at about 0140 hours the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5482 N. German Church Rd, rural Byron in reference to a report of a male at that location with a gunshot wound. Deputy’s found Chase Cooper (age 19), with a gunshot wound. Cooper was transported by Byron EMS to Mercy Hospital in Rockford with non-life threating injuries. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office Detectives continue to investigate the incident and confirm the information provided by witnesses. The investigation is ongoing.

Domestic Disturbance

On 8/03/2018 at approximately 2:10 a.m Ogle County Deputies responded to a Domestic Disturbance at 207 S. Main Street in Baileyville. After an investigation Rickie Smith was arrested for Domestic Battery. Smith was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest

On 8/02/18 Aaliyah Bostic, age 20 of Freeport, was arrest for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Bostic appeared in court and was given a lower bond of $50.00. Bostic posted that bond and will return to court on 8/27/18 at 9 a.m.

Violation of Order of Protection
On August 1st, 2018, Quintin T. McGee, 28, currently lodged in the Ogle County Jail, was charged with Violation of Order of Protection.

Driving Under the Influence

On 8-1-18 at 9:40 p.m., Deputies responded to the Ogle County Fair for a report of an intoxicated female in a vehicle. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Kendra Nesemeier, age 19 of Byron, for D.U.I and Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. Nesemeier was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 07/31/18 at approximately 9:30am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 13,000 block of W. Montague road. The stop was initiated for excessive speed. As a result of that stop George S. Styden, age 45, of Del Rio, Tennessee, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Styden was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond. Styden was issued for speeding and driving while license suspended.

Armed Robbery Arrest
On 7/29/18 at 4:45 pm, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office responded to an Armed Robbery at the BP Gas Station located at 14032 East Route 72, Davis Junction. The investigation revealed a male entered the gas station and while armed with a weapon, stole the cash register drawer. The male was last seen Northbound on Route 251 in a silver vehicle. On 7/30/18 at 6:40 pm, Ogle County Detectives executed a search warrant to a residence in the 4400 block of 11th Street, Rockford. Items of evidence were located at the residence and in the silver vehicle. As a result of the search warrant, Jourdan R. Mondragon, age 41 of Rockford, was arrested for an outstanding Rockford PD warrant and transported to the Winnebago County Jail. On 7/31/18 Mondragon was arrested by Ogle County Detectives for Armed Robbery, a Class X Felony. Mondgragon will appear in Ogle County court on 8/1/18. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Rockford Police Department during the execution of the search warrant.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/30/18 at 8:50pm Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Il Rte 64 and Lynnville Rd. After an investigation Morgan Cole, of Rockford was arrested for driving while license suspended. She was also cited for speeding and operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended. Cole was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Controlled Substance
On 07-28-18 at 12:51 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 Block of W. IL Rt. 72 for a traffic violation. After an investigation, Zachary Arachikavitz, age 20, of Freeport was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Zachary was transported to the ogle county jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/28/18 at approximately 12:11 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Freeport Rd. After further investigation Thomas Kanzler III, age 23 of Dixon was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Kanzler was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Revoked
On 07/26/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mark Daugherty ,age 43, of Rockford for driving while license revoked. Daugherty was arrested by deputies on Hwy 251 near Davis Junction after being stopped for speeding. Daugherty was held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/26/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Ernest Elswick, age 51, of Oregon for Possession of Stolen Title/ Certificate/Plate. Elswick had a bond of $15,000/ 10%. Elswick did post the $15,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Elswick will return to court on 08/24/18 at 9:00am.
Loren Goatcher, age 33, of DeKalb for Failure to Appear. Goatcher has a bond of $1,340. Goatcher was not able to post bond. Goatcher will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Goatcher will return to court on 07/27/18.
Remal Walker, age 27, of Oregon for Failure to Appear. Walker had a bond of $1,228. Walker received a $1,000 recog and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Walker will return to court on 07-30-18 at 9:00 am.
Dewayne Whelan, age 49, of Loves Park for Failure to Appear. Whelan had a bond of $767. Whelan was given a $1,000 recog and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Whelan will return to court on 08/27/18 at 9:00am.

Domestic Battery
On 07/26/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s office arrested Quintin McGee, age 29, of Stillman Valley for aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint. McGee was arrested by deputies on Valley Drive in Stillman Valley after the investigation of a domestic battery. McGee was held at the Ogle County jail in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On 07/25/18 Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a tan Chevrolet Impala in the 7000 block N. IL. Rte 2 for speeding. After further investigation Robert Murbach of Byron was arrested for driving while license suspended. Murbach was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. He was also cited for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/25/18 Jeffrey Lee was arrested for CDL License Suspended. Lee had a bond of $5,000/10%. Lee posted the $5,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Lee has to return to court on 08/17/18 at 9:00 am.

Aggravated Assault
ON July 25, 2018 AT 0827 HOURS OGLE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO THE CITGO GAS STATION, 406 E. 3^RD ST. LEAF RIVER. IT WAS REPORTED THAT A JOSHUA S. MCQUALITY, AGE 41, OF LEAF RIVER HAD WALKED INTO THE CITGO GAS STATION AND THREATENED THE CASHIER. AFTER A FURTHER INVESTIGATION MCQUALITY WAS LOCATED AT HIS RESIDENCE 806 MAIN ST. LEAF RIVER. MCQUALITY WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT. MCQUALITY WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE OGLE COUNTY JAIL WHERE HE WAS HELD IN LIEU OF BOND.

Driving Under The Influence
On 07-25-18 at 0222 Hrs., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Monroe Center EMS responded to the 7000 block of Kilbuck Rd. for the report of an ATV accident with injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that Angela K. Tatroe, age 38, of Genoa had crashed her vehicle into a telephone pole, and there was no ATV involved. Angela was transported to OSF Saint Anthony’s Hospital for non life threatening injuries by Monroe Center EMS. Angela was arrested for Driving under the influence of alcohol, Driving while license Revoked, and several other traffic citations. Angela was released on a $3000 I-Bond.

Domestic BatteryOn 7/25/2018 Ogle County Deputies, along with the Polo Police department responded to a domestic problem at 16287 West Robin Road. After an investigation Carrie L. Richardson was arrested for Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Richardson was taken to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended
On 7/24/2018 at approximately 7:57 AM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop on Rte. 2 just into Winnebago County. After investigation Deputies placed Ryan Rush, age 34 of Byron under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Rush was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests
On 7/23/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Jesse Dicken, age 34 of Byron, for Driving While License Suspended. Dicken posted the $3,000.00/10% and will appear in court on 7/27/18 at 1 p.m.
James Jones, age 30 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Jones remains at the Ogle County Jail with a bond of $426.00 and will appear in court on 7/24/18 at 1 p.m.

Driving While License Suspended

On 7/23/2018 at approximately 10:41 AM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 3,000 Block of W. Egan Road. After investigation, Deputies placed Brooke Gruss, age 25 of Leaf River under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Gruss was additionally issued citations for no valid registration, failure to surrender registration to SOS, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Gruss was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/20/18 James Britt, age 23, of Rockford was arrested for Failure to appear. Britt had a bond of $323. Britt was able to post the $323 bond. Britt was released from the Ogle County Jail. Britt does not have to return for court.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/20/18 at approximately 9:15am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Chevrolet Trax in the 1,000 block of W. Pines Road. As a result of that stop Chelsea A. Sondgeroth, age 25, of Salt Lake City, UT was arrested for driving while license suspended. Sondgeroth was issued a citation for that charge along with an I-Bond and is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

Warrant Arrest
On 7/19/18 Trevor Brown, age 20 of Forreston, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Brown was released on a $1,000.00 recognizance bond and will appear in court on 07/30/18 at 9 a.m.

Driving While License Revoked
On 07/18/18 at 10:35 p.m. after a traffic stop on I39 Deputies arrested Steven Clark, 34 of Milwaukee WI., for Driving While License Revoked. Clark was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/18/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Kiarra Murray, age 25 of DeKalb for Failure to Appear. Murray posted the $411.00 bond and will appear in court on 07/20/18 at 9 a.m.
Chelsie Smith, age 34 of Freeport, for Failure to Appear. Smith has a bond of $486.00 and remains in the Ogle County Jail. She will appear in court on 07/20/18 at 9 a.m.

Retail Theft

On July 18th, 2018 Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Dollar General in Davis Junction for a retail theft complaint. After an investigation, Stephanie L. Lewis, 19, of Davis Junction and Autumn M. Nelson, 21, also of Davis Junction were located in the 100 block of Jasmine Ave (Davis Junction) and arrested for Retail Theft.

Warrant Arrest

On 07/17/18 Anthony Nicholson, age 30, of Carpentersville was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Nicholson has a bond of $3000/ 10%. Nicholson did not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Nicholson will go to court on 07/18/18 at 1:00 pm.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/17/18 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Ogle County Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 8000 block of West Pines Road. After further investigation Ian Smith, age 26 of Polo, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Smith was transported to the Ogle County Jail where is was held in lieu of bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On 07/16/18 Ogle County Deputies responded to 806 Main st. Leaf River in regard to a 911 call for an unspecified problem. After an investigation Joshua McQuality of Leaf River was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. McQuality was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest

On 07/16/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Michelle Smitherman, age 34, of Mt. Morris for Operating Uninsured motor vehicle. Smitherman had a bond of $2,000/10%. Smitherman was given a $2,000 recog. Smitherman was released from the Ogle County jail. Smitherman will return to court on 07/25/18 at 9:00am.

Kevin Hughes, age 26, of Freeport for Failure to Appear. Hughes had a bond of $411. Hughes posted the $411 and was released from the Ogle County Jail.

Single Vehicle Accident
On 07/1618 at approximately 8:11 am Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the 14200 block of East Illinois Rt 72. An investigation into the accident revealed a westbound GMC driven by Stephon Pratt, age 22, of Loves Park failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and traveled off the north edge of the roadway. The vehicle traveled through the ditch after which it overturned. Pratt, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies were assisted by Lynn-Scott-Rock EMS, Stillman EMS, New Milford EMS, and IDOT. The accident remains under investigation.

Traffic Arrest
On 07/15/18 at 8:46 p.m., following a traffic stop on I39 at Mile Marker 99, Ogle County Deputies arrested Gonzalo Dominguez, age 40 of Madison Wisconsin, for Driving While License Revoked and Driving Without a Valid Driver’s License. Dominguez was also wanted on a warrant from Dupage County for Failure to Appear on a DUI charge. Dominguez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended

On July 14th, 2018, approximately 9:14 AM, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 9000 block of East Route 64. Taylor R. Young, 20, of Oregon, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and cited for Expired Registration.

Warrant Arrest
On 7/13/18 the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Shannon Day, age 24 of Sterling, for Failure to Appear. Day posted the $200 purge bond and will appear in court on 7/30/18 at 9 a.m.
Joshua Silva, age 25 of DeKalb, for Failure to Appear. Silva posted a bond of $125 and was released with no further court date.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/12/18 Glory E Johnson, age 42, of Dixon was arrested for Failure to Appear. Johnson had a bond of $454. Johnson could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Johnson will go to court on 07/13/18 at 1:00pm.

Domestic Battery
On July 11th, 2018 at about 9:38pm Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a domestic problem in the 200 block of Main St. in Holcomb. After completing an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested Jamie D. Pentecost, age 21, of Beloit, Wi for Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending an appearance before a judge.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/12/18 Ivan Keller, age 45, of Roscoe was arrested for Failure to Appear. Keller had a bond of $809. Keller was given a $1,000 recog and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Keller will return to court on 08/27/18 at 9:00am.

No Valid Drivers License
On 07/11/18 at approximately 0759 hours Deputies conducted a motorist assist in the 3000 block of North River Rd. After further investigation Guillermo Pinones-Hernandez, age 30 of Rockford was placed under arrest for No Valid Drivers License. Pinones-Hernandez was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Revoked
On 7/10/2018 at approximately 3:29 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 11,000 block of N. Pecatonica Road. After investigation Deputies placed Scott Fish, age 46 of Mt. Morris under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Fish was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended
On 7/10/2018 at approximately 7:00 AM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 3,000 block of W. Pines Road. After investigation Deputies placed Katherine Hayen, age 35 of Rock Falls, under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Hayen was also issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Hayen was released on a I-Bond to appear on a later date.

On 7/10/18 the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Javon Coleman, age 24 of Sterling, for Failure to Appear. Coleman posted a $40.00 bond. Coleman posted bond and was released and will appear in court on 8/27/18 at 9 a.m.
Kayana Alexander, age 37 of Freeport, for Petition to Revoke and Failure to Appear. Alexander was released after posting a $300.00 bond and given a $3,000.00 recognizance bond. Alexander will appear in court on 8/13/18 at 10:45 a.m. and on 8/27/18 at 9 a.m.

Two Vehicle Accident
ON July 8, 2018 AT 5:36am THE OGLE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, LINSCOTT ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AMBULANCE RESPONDED TO THE INTERSECTION OF RT. 251 AND RT. 72 DAVIS JUNCTION FOR A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES. A FORD ESCAPE DRIVEN BY DAVID AMARILES AGE 36 OF MONROE CENTER WAS WESTBOUND ON RT. 72 STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION OF RT. 251. AS AMARILES ENTERED THE INTERSECTION AN INFINITY G20 DRIVEN SHARON POWERS AGE 67 OF ROCKFORD WAS NORTHBOUND ON RT. 251. POWERS VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP AT THE INTERSECTION STRIKING THE FORD ESCAPE. AMARILES AND HIS PASSENGER MCKENNA ALCOCK AGE 13 OF MONROE CENTER REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT. POWERS WAS TRANSPORTED TO SWEDISH AMERICAN HOSPITAL BY THE LINSCOTT ROCK AMBULANCE WITH MINOR INJURIES. THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

Driving Under The Influence
On 07-07-18, at approximately 2210 hours, Deputies with the assistance of Byron Police Department responded to the report of a driving complaint in the 10000 block of N. IL Route 2 in which the vehicle was traveling southbound. The vehicle was located on Ashelford Drive at intersection with IL Route 2. Upon conducting an investigation, Mairen Beazley, age 32 of Barrington IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Beazley was also cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Improper Parking, Improper Lane Usage, and Failure to Display Driver’s License. Beazley was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Battery
On 07-07-18, at approximately 1730 hours, Deputies responded to 7058 E IL Route 72 Meridian Manor Trailer Park for the report of a disturbance. After further investigation, Ashley Belongia, age 25 of Stillman Valley, was arrested for Battery. Belongia was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Criminal Damage To Property
On 07-07-18, at approximately 0315 hours, Deputies responded to the report of a domestic battery. After an investigation was conducted, William Mongan age 25 of Oregon was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage to Property over $500.00. William was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held without bail until appearance before a Judge.

Driving While License Revoked
On 07-06-18, at approximately 1700 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of south Lowden road. Bruce Engelkes age 58 of Little Chute Wisconsin was arrested for Driving While License Revoked. Engelkes was also cited for speeding 73mph in a 55mph zone. Engelkes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/08/18 Nicholas Davis, age 33, of Rochelle was arrested for Failure to Appear. Davis has a bond of $5559.20. Davis will go to court on 07/09/18 at 1:00pm. Davis will remain in the Ogle County jail.

Motorcycle vs. Deer
On 07/08/18 at 1:02 A.M. the OCSO and Oregon Fire Dept. responded to an injury crash involving a motorcycle and a deer at 7900 E. Gristmill Road. investigation by deputies revealed that a motorcycle operated by David Hueramo age 36 of Davis Junction had struck a deer causing both Hueramo and his passenger, Jessica Robles age 31 also of Davis Junction to be ejected from the motorcycle. Both Hueramo and Robles were transported by Oregon ambulance to Rochelle Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Hueramo was cited for DUI and operating an uninsured vehicle and was given a July 27th court date.

Burglary
On 7/6/18 at 1:00 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Nolan M. Wortman, age 19 of Stillman Valley, for Burglary, a Class 3 Felony. The arrest stems from an investigation into numerous car burglaries which occurred in Stillman Valley on 6/26/18. Wortman appeared in court on 7/7/18 and was held without bond. The investigation is ongoing and the Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the citizens of Ogle County to lock their vehicle doors to help deter these types of crimes

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/06/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ronald Shaffer, age 54, of Rockford for Driving while License Suspended. Shaffer was arrested by deputies on Hwy 251 in Davis Junction after being stopped for speeding. Shaffer was held at the jail in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/06/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Offices arrested Michael Thomas, age 47, of Sarepta La, for Driving while License Suspended. Thomas was arrested by deputies on Rte 38 near Rochelle after being stopped for speeding. Thomas was held in lieu of bond at the jail.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/06/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:
Jose R. Navarro, age 38, of Oregon was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Navarro had a bond of $5,000/10%. Navarro did post the $5,000/10% and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Navarro will have to return to court on 07/27/18 at 9:00am.
Demetrius S. Holland, age 25 was arrested for Failure to Appear. Holland had a bond of $705. Holland was given a reduced purge for $200. Holland did post the $200 purge and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Holland will have to return to court on 07/09/18 at 2:30pm.

Burglary
ON July 6, 2018 at 8:04am Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at 5928 S. Watertown road, Ogle County. After a further investigation Craig A. Kehl, age 45, of Dixon was located in the 5,000 block S. Watertown road. Kehl was arrested for Violation of an Order of Protection. Kehl was taken into custody and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

One Vehicle Accident
On 7/05/18 at 4:28 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Ashton Fire Protection District responded to the area of Flagg Rd. at Linscott Rd. for a report of a one vehicle rollover crash with injuries. After an investigation, it was determined that Misti Fant, age 37 of Ashton, had lost control of her vehicle while traveling westbound on Flagg Rd. Fant crossed the center line, crossing over the eastbound lane, and into the south-side ditch. Fant’s vehicle rolled, and collided with a utility pole. Fant was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle EMS for non life threatening injuries. Fant was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol, along with several other traffic citations. Fant was released on a $3,000 I-Bond with a court date issued. Rochelle Fire Department and Flagg Center Fire Protection assisted with the call.

Disorderly Conduct
On 7-5-18 at 6:43 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 700 block of North View Crest drive for a neighbor complaint. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Thomas G. Will, age 61 of Byron, for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting a Peace Officer, and Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer. Thomas was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 7/05/18 DeJuan Haslett, age 24 of Algonquin, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Haslett remains in jail with a bond of $2,185.00 and will appear in court on 7/06/18 at 1 pm.

Disorderly Conduct
On 7/05/18 at 9:40 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Lake Louise for an unwanted subject. After an investigation, James Campbell, age 60 of Byron was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. James was transported to the Ogle County Jail were he was held in lieu of bond.

One Vehicle Accident
On 7/5/2018 at approximately 12:17 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident with an injury in the 7,000 block of S. Ridge Road. After arrival Deputies learned a 2017 Volkswagon SUV driven by Lisa Lindquist age 51 of Sterling, was traveling southbound in the 7,000 block of S. Ridge Road in a curve. Lindquist then fell asleep which caused her to drive off of the east side of the roadway before striking an embankment and tree. Lindquist was transported to KSB Hospital by Dixon Rural EMS for non life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

Domestic Battery
On 7/05/2018, at approximately 2:03 am, Ogle County Deputies responded to 2121 Everett Street in Mt Morris in reference to a domestic problem. After an investigation Trei T. Sanders, age 24 of Mt Morris, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Sanders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is held in lieu of bond.

Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse
On 7/5/18 at 10:30 am, Ogle County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Brent T. Bauer, age 49 of Oregon, for two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, Class 2 felonies. The arrest stems from an investigation that began in June in which Bauer is alleged to have had sexual contact with two minors in rural Forreston. Bauer appeared in court on 7/6/18 and he was given a $3,000 recognizance bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 07/04/18, Scott Fore, age 29 of Rochelle was arrested on two outstanding Ogle County warrants for Mob Action and Aggravated Battery. Fore has two bonds of $50,000/10% and $5,000/10% and remains in jail. Fore will appear in court on 07/05/18 at 1 pm.

Driving While License Suspended
On 07/01/18 at 5:48 pm following a traffic stop in the 500 block of south 1st Ave in Forreston, Ogle County Sheriff Deputies arrested Johnathon Hasenstab 21 of Dixon for Driving While License Suspended. Hasenstab was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 6-30-18, Karla Herlugson, age 37 of Byron, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Petition to Revoke. Herlugson posted the $3,000/10% bond and will appear in court on7-27-18 at 9 am.

One Vehicle Accident
On 6-30-18 at 1:37 pm Deputies responded to the 1800 block of E. Illinois Rte. 64 for a one vehicle accident with injuries. It was determined that a 2004 Pontiac driven by Cory Love, age 42 of Mt. Morris, was traveling West on Illinois Rte. 64 when the vehicle entered the North ditch, then crossed back over both lanes entering the South ditch, where the vehicle overturned multiple times before coming to rest on the roof. Love was extricated by Oregon Fire and abulance and then transported to Rockford Memorial Hospital by REACT helicoptor for non life threatening injuries. Love was charged with DUI, and recieved citations for failure to reduce speed, improper lane use, failure to notify SOS of address change, Love was released on a 3000 I-Bond at the Hospital with a return court date of August 01, 2018 at 9 am. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Oregon Police. The accident remains under investigation.

Traffic Arrest
On 6/29/18 at 5:55 pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 14000 block of East Illinois Route 64 for a speeding violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Keisha Whitaker, age 28 of Rockford, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Whitaker was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Traffic Arrest
On 6/29/18 at 9:57 pm following a traffic stop at Flagg and Illinois Route 251 for improper lane use, Deputies arrested Charles Webber, age 36 of Rochelle, was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License and Driving While License Suspended. Webber was also cited for No Insurance and Expired Registration. Webber was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests
On 6/29/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

Bakhtiyor Abdulazizov, age 33 of Stow, Ohio for No CDL. Abdulazizov posted the $3,000/10% bond and will appear in court on 7/20/18 at 9 am.
Manuel Sago, age 28 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Sago posted the $75.00 bond and will appear in court on 7/30/18 at 9 am.
Deandre Norfleet, age 22 of Chicago, for Driving While License Suspended. Norfleet was released and will appear in court on 7/30/18 at 9 am.

Driving While License Suspended
On 06/29/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kevain White, age 25, of DeKalb for Driving while License Suspended and an Outstanding Whiteside County Warrant. White was arrested on Rte 38 near Rochelle after being stopped by Deputies for speeding 102 MPH. White was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County jail.

Vehicle vs. Pedestrian
On 06/28/18 at 6:00 P.M. the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office and Lynn Scott Rock Fire Dept. responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at 125 Prairie Moon Drive in Davis Junction. Investigation by Deputies revealed that a 9 year old male was riding a non motorized scooter on the roadway when he turned into the path of a pickup truck operated by Bethany Anderson age 37 from Davis Junction. The juvenile was transported by LSR ambulance to Swedish American Hospital for what appeared to be non life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Ogle County Sheriff’s Office.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/28/18 the following people were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Everett Bradley, age 51, of Oregon for Failure to Appear and Aggravated Domestic Battery. Bradley has a bond of $100,000/10% and $955.77. Bradley will appear on court on 06/29/18 at 1:00pm.
Patrick Larson, age 18,of Rochelle for Illegal Consumption of a minor. Larson has a bond of $5,000/10%. Larson will appear in court on 06/29/18 at 1:00pm.

Driving While License Suspended
On 06/28/18 at approximately 0510 hours Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 6000 block of West Pines Road. After further investigation Kelsey Milliman, age 21 of Oregon was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Milliman was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Milliman was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Domestic Incident
On 06/27/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Mayer, age 21, of Carey, Il. for Disorderly Conduct. Mayer was arrested by deputies for an domestic incident which occurred on I-39 near Rochelle. Mayer was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/27/18 the following people were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant:

Sonya M. Terrock, age 24, of Sterling for Possession of Cannabis. Terrock had a bond of $2,000/10%. Terrock did post the $2,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Terrock has to return for court on 7-13-18 at 9:00am.
Colton D. Sullivan, age 18, of Byron for Criminal Damage to Property. Sullivan has a bond of $3,000/10%. Sullivan remains in the Ogle County Jail. Sullivan will go to court on 06/28/18 at 1:00pm.

Warrant Arrest
On 06-26-18 Kyle Sommer, age 30 of Mahomet was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Speeding with a $2,000 10% bond. Sommer will appear in court on 06-26-18 at 1:00 pm.

Driving While License Suspended
On 6/26/2018 at approximately 11:16 AM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 8,000 Block of W. IL Rte. 64. After investigation Deputies placed Catara Ross, age 40 of Anniston, Alabama under arrests for Driving While License Suspended and No Valid License. Ross was also issued a citation for speeding. Ross was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests
On 06/25/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Jonathan Robinson, age 29 of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Robinson remains in jail with a bond of $392.54 full cash and will appear in court on 06/26/18 at 1 pm.
Kaitlyn Estes, age 26 of Harmon for Failure to Appear. Estes remains in jail with a bond of $1,845.00 and will appear in court on 06/26/18 at 1 pm.
Tasha Miller, age 28 of Fulton for Theft. Miller posted the $3,000/10% bond and was released with a return court date of 07/17/18 at 9 am.

Traffic Arrest
On 06/25/18 at 10:13 pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of North Illinois Route 2 for a speeding violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested David Grinnell, age 32 of Roscoe, for Driving While License Revoked and Operating a Vehicle without a BAIID when required and cited for Speeding. Grinnell was transported to the Ogle County Jail on no bond and will appear in court on 06/26/18 for a Bond Hearing.

Driving While License Suspended
On 06/25/18 the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office arrested Antonie Wallace, age 36, of Urbana for Driving While License Suspended. Wallace was arrested by deputies on I-39 near Rochelle after being stopped for speeding. Wallace was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

One Vehicle Motorcycle Crash
On 06/24/18 Ogle County Deputies investigated a one vehicle motorcycle crash in the 14000 block West Milledgeville Rd Polo. After an investigation it was determined that Monroe Wells of Polo had been driving southbound, failed to negotiate a curve in the road and crashed into the ditch. Wells was transported to KSB hospital in Dixon for non life threatening injures. At the hospital Wells was issued citations for Driving while License Suspended, operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and leaving the scene of a crash. Wells was given a IBOND at the hospital and will attend a future court date.

Driving While License Suspended
On 06/24/18 at approximately 5:55pm Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 4000 block of South Lowell Park Rd. After further investigation Chaz Slater, age 27, of Davenport, Iowa was placed under arrest for Driving while License Suspended. Slater was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Cannabis. Slater was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Disorderly Conduct
On June 24, 2018 at 1134 hours Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 411 N. Blackhawk Byron for a disturbance. After a further investigation Clifford K. Swanson Age 50 of Byron was located at 5545 N. River Road. Swanson was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. Swanson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Physical Disturbance
On 06/24/18 at approximately 12:53am Deputies responded to an address in the 100 block of 8th st, Leaf River, in reference to a physical disturbance. After further investigation Danny Rosenbalm, age 39, of Mt. Morris was placed under arrest for Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct, and Violation of Bond Conditions. Also arrested was Trisha Dempewolf, age 31, of Byron for Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct. Both Dempewolf and Rosenbalm were transported to the ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/23/18 Trey a Breegman , age 24, of Loves Park for Poss of Cannabis. Breegman had a bond of $3000/10%. Breegman did post the $3000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Breegman will have to return for court on 07/13/18 at 9:00am.

On 06/22/18 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Jessica Lewis, age 31, for Failure to Appear. Lewis has a bond of $933.Lewis was not able to post bond and will be held in the Ogle County Jail. Lewis will return to court on 06/25/18 at 1:00pm.
Deon Woodrome, age 42, of Cary for Failure to Appear. Woodrome had a bond of $2,476.77. Woodrome was given a bond of $700 purge. Woodrome was released from the Ogle County Jail and has to return for court on 06/22/18 at 1:00pm
Tanisha Travis, age 45, of Janesville, Wi for Failure to Appear. Travis had a bond of $309. Travis was given a purge of $306. Travis was released from the Ogle County Jail and does not have to return for court.
Jeffery Plantz, age 20, of Dixon for Failure to Appear. Plantz has a bond of $366. Plantz did not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Plantz will go to court on 06/25/18 at 1:00pm.

On 6/21/18 the following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Ernie Cribbs, age 52 of Rochelle for Driving While License Suspended. Cribbs appeared in court and was released on a $1,500.00 Recognizance Bond and will appear in court again on 7/9/18.
Lloyd Hernandez, age 29 of Sterling for Theft Under $500.00 and Failure to Appear. Hernandez appeared in court and was released on a $3,000.00 Recognizance Bond and a $1,000.00 Recognizance Bond. Hernandez will appear in court on 7/9/18 and 7/30/18.

Driving Under the Influence
On 06/16/18 at 1:18 am Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of N IL Rte 2. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Paul M Gugerty 39 of Oregon for Driving Under the Influence. Gurgerty also received a citation for Speeding. Gugerty was transported to the OCCC and held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/21/18 Amber Anders, age 25 of Rochelle was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Aggravated D.U.I. Anders remains in jail with a bond of $25,000/10% and will appear in court on 06/21/18 at 1 pm.

On 06/20/18 James Hernandez, age 38 of DeKalb, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Hernandez remains in jail and has a bond of $2,502.00 and will appear in court on 06/21/18 at 1 pm.

Obstructing Identification & Violation of the Hypodermic Needles Act
On 6/20/2018 at approximately 12:06 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 3,000 block of West Pines Road. After investigation Deputies placed Cassandra Leif, age 29 of Dixon under arrest for Obstructing Identification, Violation of the Hypodermic Needles Act, a FTA Lee County Warrant, a FTA Whiteside County Warrant, and issued a citation for No Front Registration. The passenger, Enedino Chavez age 39 of Sterling was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Violation of the Hypodermic Needles Act, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Obstructing a Peace Officer. Both Leif and Chavez were transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Driving While License Revoked
On 06/18/18 at approximately 8:25pm Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois Rt. 72 and Pond Rd. After further investigation Guadalupe Mejia, age 44, of Mt. Morris was placed under arrest for Driving While License Revoked and No Valid Drivers License. Mejia was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/18/18 Raymond Gargani , age 42, of Rockford was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Gargani had a bond of $10,000/10%. Gargani posted the $10,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County jail. Gargani does not have to return for court.

Driving While License Revoked
On 6/17/2018 at approximately 3:43 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop near the intersection of 6th Street and Garfield Street in Leaf River. After investigation, Deputies placed Carlson Jones, age 28 of Mt. Morris under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Jones was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:
On 06-16-18 Dave R Puckett, age 38 of Chicago was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Puckett posted the $3000 10% bond and was released. Puckett will appear in court on 07-06-18 at 9:00 am.
Chiffon Felix, age 38 of Rochelle for Failure to Appear with a Full Cash Bond of $3003.49. Felix will appear in court on 06-18-18 at 1:00 pm.

Driving While License Suspended
On 06-16-18 at 8:47 pm, Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 20000 block of E Il Rte 64 for a vehicle with one headlamp. Upon further investigation it was determined the driver, David R Puckett age 38 of Milwaukee, WI was Driving on a Suspended License and had a valid Ogle County Warrant. Puckett was taken into custody and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond. Puckett was cited for Driving While License Suspended and Improper Lighting – one headlamp.

Traffic Arrest
On 06/16/18 at 3:18 am, Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 near Mile Marker 111 for a vehicle speeding. During the course of the traffic stop, it was learned that the driver, Yadira Santiago-Perez, age 35 of Rockford, did not have a valid driver’s license. Yadira was arrested for no valid driver’s license and cited for speeding. Yadira was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Warrant Arrests
On 06/15/18 the following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:

Casey Phillips, age 32 of Milledgeville, for Failure to Appear with a bond of $1,449.00. Phillips remains in jail and will appear in court on 06/18/18 at 1 pm.
Steven Brothers, age 34 of Oregon for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Brothers was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on 07/18/18.

Traffic Arrest
On 06/15/18 at 8:22 pm Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 9000 block of Valley Rd in Stillman Valley. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Alexis Cook, 22 of Rockford, for driving while license suspended. She was also issued civil citations for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia along with citations for no insurance and failure to wear a seat belt. Cook was transported to the Ogle County Jail and upon arriving Cook was searched by Jail staff. Jail staff then located on Cook’s person an amount of Cocaine. Cook was also charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and bringing contraband into a penal institution. Cook is being held without bond and will appear in court on 06/18/18.

Warrant Arrest
On 06/14/18William Dodge, age 36, of Sterling was arrested for Failure to Appear. Dodge had a bond of $271 and was able to post bond. Dodge was released from the Ogle County Jail and will not have to return for court.

Warrant Arrest
On 06-12-18 Rebecca L Dufoe, age 45 of Rockford was arrested for Failure to Appear. Dufoe did not post the $2,377 Full Cash Bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Dufoe will appear in court on 06-13-18 at 1:00 pm.
